Don’t Miss the Easter Brunch at The Blackwall Barn & Lodge

If you don’t have plans for Easter Sunday, reserve a table at The Blackwall Barn & Lodge. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 21st, the eatery is hosting a special holiday brunch complete with live music. Enjoy endless refills of omelets, hash browns, shrimp and grits, fresh waffles, house-made pies, and a variety of other brunch bites.

You don’t need a special occasion to come to The Blackwell Barn & Lodge, however. Many locals flock here every weekday for happy hour. From 4 to 7 p.m., a variety of beers, cocktails, flatbreads, and country toasts are on special. The crab toast comes topped with sweet claw crab, fennel, jalapeno, and lemon aioli, and the mushroom toast features buttery garlic whiled mushrooms with herbed ricotta spread and thyme. The flatbreads showcase ingredients such as local Virginia ham, plump shrimp and pesto, and even dates and nuts.
